Old Bay with Spice, 2008
Pigment Print
20" x 16"
Edition of 500
In 1962, Andy Warhol first created the Pop Art classic titled "Campbell Soup Cans" which consisted of 32 individual canvases that were painted silkscreens of a single Campbell's Soup canone of each of the canned soup varieties the company offered at the time. Inspired by Mr. Warhols creation, I created this piece to celebrate my personal enjoyment of Old Bay, a local Maryland favorite more popularly used to season steamed crabs and other seafood(but my fellow Marylanders already knew that)!
Printed on Hahnemule Fine Art German Etching, 310gsm, archival paper with Symphonic Pigmented Inks.
