Parade of Legs, 2008
Pigment Print
8.5" x 30"
Edition of 250
Prior to my concentration in the fine arts, I previously worked in the fashion industry as a graphic designer for a popular retailer in the Washington, DC area. The charismatic pulse of the fashion industry operated on a seasonal beat. The industry was fast paced and full of energy. The hard work of an exhausting advertising campaign was usually selected down to only a few perfect photographs. The models worked hard as the photographer grabbed stills of their actions taking long reaching steps and waving their arms to project the right pose for the camera. This piece is a tribute to their professionalism and the beauty they project in their work.
Printed on Hahnemule Fine Art German Etching, 310gsm, archival paper with Symphonic Pigmented Inks.
