Live, Steamed, Picked
This is a tryptic set of three 18x24 inch images that I created to demonstrate the three stages of catching, steaming and feasting on crabs. If you're not from the east coast of North America, or more specifically the Chesapeake Bay region and/or mid atlantic states, eating the Blue Crab may be a new experience for you. However, many of us enjoy eating crabs throughout the summer months and do so with family and friends in a feast type manner. Growing up in Maryland, I can tell you from my personal experience that this has been a long time tradition for my family and I hope it will continue to be a future tradition for many generations to come. Please remember to "Feast Responsibly"!
